Everyone knows that January/February is the perfect time to book a holiday. It’s a time for cheering ourselves up, of grabbing those offers while they last and of giving ourselves something to look forward to later in the year. If you’re a family, then there is even more reason to book your holiday now rather than later. In fact, there are five good reasons why you should get that family holiday booked now:

More availability means lower prices so take advantage of these before flights and hotels start to get booked up and the prices begin to increase.

2) More Choice


Family holidays tend to sell out much quicker so booking early avoids any disappointment. There’s nothing worse than finding your perfect resort only to discover that it is fully booked. Hotels with waterparks, great kid’s clubs and entertainment tend to go first so if that’s your thing, get in fast and book now.

3) Offers and Low Deposits


The beginning of the year is the best time to book with a whole variety of special offers available to entice you. There are many hotels offering “Kids Stay Free” deals which are always hugely popular and get snapped up fast and large discounts are often available during this time too. Booking your holiday early also means you can take advantage of paying a low deposit. Many travel companies ask for a low deposit for those booking early in the year so don’t worry if you’ve over spent on the festive season and have little left in the pot, booking your family holiday is still possible.

4) Manage Payments


With low deposits on offer, you can book your holiday for very little and then choose to either pay the balance off little by little throughout the year until the due date or wait and settle the balance in full at that time. If you do manage to find a family holiday at a later stage of the year (bearing in mind that the best offers and destinations tend to sell out fast) you may have to pay the entire balance in full.

Recently used SN Travel for the second time to help us with our annual holiday The booking process with Laura was great as always but everything after that was very poor. The hotel we stayed at was in the middle of a major upgrade with work starting early in the morning and lasting all day. It was noisy and dusty and not how I want to spend my holiday. The work was right outside our room and all round the swimming pool, see photos. Whilst I fully understand that this is not the fault of SN Travel other holiday makers had been warned and either moved to other buildings on the complex or changed hotels. Either SN Travel decided not to tell us this or they are not very well informed by their local agent. Either way you should question why you need to use them rather than go direct to the hotel or book online Our transfer from the airport, which they organised, was also a shambles but again they are taking no responsibility for that either. Make your own judgement as to whether you want to use this company, I think there are many better ones out there. We certainly won’t ever use them again

My recent travel was sadly horrendous. The issues start with information for my flight to my hotel stay. I had to email and call SN for my final holiday details as my date for travelling were nearing. This filled me with anxiety. My hotel itinerary was different to my friends, I had room only booked with no breakfast meal, the lift to our hotel floor was not working properly, there was no one to help us with our luggage to our room on the 18th floor, we had no hot water to shower after travelling for hours, I could not close the blinds to my window, so was completely disposed to all to see me in my room, the room itself was not very clean. My friends in another room also experienced the same issues as well, and we spoke with other guests who were equally disappointed. We complained almost every day, and eventually spoke to the hotel director Bill Russell (that's the name he gave us) Bill informed us that a waiver of 1 nights stay would be returned to us as soon as SN travel were contacted and informed. Sad to say this was my first time using SN and will be the last. DO NOT GO TO THE MANHATTAN AT TIMES SQUARE HOTEL!!! This place needs to be completely refurbished. We await to find out if we will have further contact with SN Travel & The Manhattan.
